I only have 49.7 hours on the tractor since July 2017, no visible leaks anywhere and I've checked every rod and linkage on it, all fine. This happens with the mower deck on or off and the drive belt was in good condition. ![]() You can even hear a 'click' or 'clank' (whatever you want to call it) when it overcomes the resistance. If you’re having Cub Cadet RZT 50 hydrostatic transmission problems, there are a few things that could be causing the issue. Every 10-15 degrees of tire rotation it tries to 'stick' and you have to push it a little harder to overcome the resistance. Check your hydrostatic fluid quality and level Repair the transmission control rod. If your tractor has been in use for a few years, this form of 'creeping' may occur. The transmission control rod causes the tractor to rock slightly forward or backward when the engine is powered high idle speed while it is in neutral. But the problem with the light is, it blinks even if your tank is filled with oil. Shifting problems and failure to engage gears properly.
